3. What schools is transportation provided from? Transportation is provided from all schools in Scotch Plains and Westfield. Registration must be completed by 2 weeks before your intended start date in order to ensure availability. Transportation mode and route will be contingent on the number of children registered from each school.
4. What are the dates of CKids After-School? Ckids After-School will begin November 4, 2024. We follow the calendars of both Scotch Plains and Westfield Public Schools. If any of those schools are open, we will be open and will provide transportation after school. We will be closed for Jewish Holidays such as Shavuot on June 2nd and 3rd.
5. Why is the program starting in November and not in September? The Ckids after-school program is starting in November to ensure it's as successful as possible. We're taking the extra time to make sure everything is well-prepared, and our staff is fully ready to provide a top-notch experience. We understand this might be a bit inconvenient, but we're confident your children will truly enjoy the program. For the 2025-26 school year, we'll be starting in September.
We invite you to register your kids for the GROW Enrichment program, a drop-off program from 4-5:30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, beginning September 2024.
6. Do I have to commit to the entire school year? Can we choose to enroll for one month at a time as our schedule allows? No, you do not have to commit to the entire school year, but you can enroll for one session at a time.
7. What happens if we need to change the day after registering? We will always do our best to accommodate changes. As long as space and staffing allows, you can change the day after registering.
8. If I register now and then realize before it starts that it doesn't work for us, will I get a refund? Everything aside from the $50 registration fee is fully refundable until November 1, 2024. After November 1st, there is a one-month deposit which will be forfeited upon cancellation.
